how it works

Virtual running is a great way to stay fit, challenge yourself or challenge someone else.

Our runs can be done as an individual, group or even as part of a club event, and can be completed anywhere and any time, inside on a treadmill or outside in the fresh air. Alternatively, you can choose to run one of them on the specific dates and compete against other runners from all over the world.

All you have to do is enter a run, run it and then provide evidence that you have done it. That’s it! We will even provide you with a bib number and of course, send you a medal to celebrate your achievement.

Start running in these easy steps:

Step one: choose a theme, a distance and then run it! You can either run as part of the official run or when the time suits you. You choose the route, time and who you do it with, friends, family, club mates or against runners from all over the world.

Step two: once you have completed your run, send evidence of your run to us, e.g. this can be a photo of the run stats on your smartwatch or a screenshot of your run on Strava.

Step three: we will add your result to the results page. This gives you the opportunity to compare your run with other people or simply check your time against a previous run to see if you beat your own best time.

Step four: we will post your medal to you.

Step five: choose another run and aim to beat your previous time.
